The Alberta Craft Council and Edmonton Opera partnered on the Opera Coat Project exhibition in 2006. A collaboration between professional designers, visual artists, craftspersons and artisans from across Alberta, the artists created 16 coats/costumes inspired by one of the great operas and used a variety of techniques and materials. This coat, inspired by Puccini's Turandot was designed by Manola Borrajo-Giner and Inger Lorsignol.
